CYBAERO was established in 1996 as a spin-off from a collaboration between FOI and DST CONTROL. The collaboration started in 1992 and the aim was to develop a reliable and cost-efficient control system for automatic stabilisation and navigation of unmanned helicopters.

ELEKTA's LEKSELL GAMMA KNIFE C is one of the most advanced system in the world for non-invasive neuro-surgical treatment of the brain. The LEKSELL GAMMA KNIFE, developed and marketed by ELEKTA, is a clinical tool for precision radio therapy achieving unsurpassed selectivity due to a unique patented technology. There are some 180 units installed world wide and some 230,000 treatments have been performed till date.

SAAB's SKELDAR is a fully autonomous, mobile system with VTOL and hovering capacity, which enables it to perform take-off and landing with a minimum of field preparation or additional equipment. The system's modular design makes it possible to choose between different payloads and to easily adapt to future needs. Furthermore the UAV control station can easily be integrated into other systems and configurations. The Skeldar system is possible to certify for flying in non-restricted airspace.

SCAMA provides a unique aircraft arrester system developed to meet the needs of a modern airforce. Safely arresting fighter aircraft failing to take-off or land properly not only saves life and human suffering but also saves huge values. To meet increasing demands on flexibility and cost-efficiency, future aircraft arresters need to handle a wide range of take-off weights. Competing hydro-mechanical solutions normally handle only very narrow weight ranges.
